I am the owner of PARKLAKE MT. BEAGLES
I have had Beagles all my life and am aware of many of the faults and strenghts of the different blood lines.
I have been the owner of Beagle's that were dissapointing and I have had a Beagle that was the best Beagle hound a man could ever dream of having. NOTE: A good dog is the result of his Master's patience and time.
I have always been drawn to the smaller Beagle that are close ranging, slower trailing, with an excellant nose, not timid and having teachable disposition.
The smaller Beagles also make nicer pets, won't range as far, don't weigh as much and are also more ideal for house pets.
This is the reason for my line of Beagles: these puppies shown here will range between 10 ½ " - 11" tall. This is not just another Beagle, but a "Special Breed". It is possible some might go over 11". The Sire Joe Moody and also the Dam Daisy are both just under 11".
